Host Position

We are a welcoming, fast-paced restaurant committed to exceptional guest experiences, high-quality food, and a warm, community‑focused atmosphere. We’re looking for a friendly, attentive, and reliable Host/Hostess to join our team and help create memorable dining experiences for every guest.

The Host/Hostess is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations and seating, and ensuring smooth front‑of‑house flow. This role requires excellent communication skills, a warm and welcoming personality, and the ability to stay composed during busy periods. You’ll be the face of Angkor Wat Restaurant, helping guests feel comfortable and excited to dine with us.

• Greet guests warmly as they enter, reflecting the hospitality at the heart of our brand 
• Manage the waitlist, reservations, and seating chart to ensure efficient table flow
• Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and assist with takeout orders when needed
• Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating and guest needs
• Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entry area
• Assist with light cleaning or table resets during peak times
• Provide helpful, friendly information about the menu and restaurant
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and positivity

• Prior host/hostess or customer service experience preferred, but not required 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with guests
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Basic phone and POS familiarity is a plus
